NIGHT CRISIS COMMITTEE

HFS MUN invites delegates from all over India, and among this consortium of talent, the crème de la crème of delegates are selected for the Night Crisis Committee. The delegates are selected based on their debate and diplomatic skills by the Executive Board of their committee and are given very little time to prepare for a crisis committee with agendas that may vex the best of us. The Night Crisis Committee occurs after a difficult day of MUN in the evenings and may sometimes even stretch into the smaller hours of the next morning. So perform your best to secure a spot at HFS MUN’s most challenging committee. Get ready for the Night Crisis!

Disciplined, driven, and always ten steps ahead, Pratinav Deb is the Director of the UNSC. With over 80 MUNs behind him, he’s a debater, motivator, and military-jargon enthusiast who believes real impact begins with real preparation.

A national-level squash player and avid basketballer, Pratinav thrives under pressure. He lives by the mantra, “The only easy day was yesterday,” and brings that energy into every session. For him, UNSC is more than debate—it’s where leaders are made.

Meet Gia Fernandes, the Spielberg of DISEC, a confident and quick chair with a passion for MUNs akin to Marie Curie's discovery of radioactivity. She's as fast and hardworking as her favourite Formula 1 car, and she loves both running and running MUN committees. Gia is dedicated to pushing delegates to excel, drawn to debate for its sarcasm and tension.

With a knack for finding creative solutions, she transforms novices into capable delegates, embodying the perfect balance of determination and ingenuity. Under her leadership, the DISEC committee is set to shine, as Gia isn't just a Director; she is the answer to making this committee exceptional!
